How to Tag Artists on Quicket: Boost Event SEO & Visibility

How to tag an artist to your Quicket event

To tag an artist on Quicket, navigate to Manage Event > Artist Tagging within the Organiser Hub. This feature uses the Ticketmaster Discovery API to link your event to a global database of performers, boosting your SEO, increasing event visibility, and reaching fans who already follow that artist.

The difference between an event page and an artist page

It is helpful to know how these two pages interact on the Quicket platform:

  • The event page: This contains your specific event details, such as the date, ticket prices, and venue. It is where your ticket buyers go to complete a purchase.
  • The artist page: This acts as a central hub for the performer. It displays the artist's bio and links to all Quicket events they are tagged in. This allows fans to see a full tour schedule in one place rather than visiting multiple individual event links.

Before you begin

Before you start tagging, ensure you meet the following requirements:

Note: Quicket may require proof of the artist booking during our standard event approval process.

Step 1: Open your event in the Organiser Hub
Log in to your Quicket account, select your event, and navigate to Manage Event > Artist Tagging.

Note: Artist tagging is only visible to users with the required permissions.

Step 2: Access the artist search tool
Click the Add Artist button to open the global database search interface.

Step 3: Find your artist in the database
Type at least three letters of the performer's name and select the correct match from the results.

Step 4: Add the artist’s details
Select the Performer Segment (e.g., Music), Type and enter a custom Artist Description for your page.

Step 5: Upload or edit promotional images
Add an Artist Banner and a Profile Image (800 x 800 pixels) to ensure the page looks professional.

Step 6: Connect official social media links
Insert links for the artist's official pages, such as Spotify, Instagram, or YouTube, to help fans follow them.

Step 7: Set your page visibility
Choose Public if you want the page to be found on Google and other search engines. If you choose Private, the artist will not be listed on your event page.

Step 8: Save your linked artist
Review your entries and click Save to finalise the link and update your event dashboard.

Step 9: Review the published artist page
Locate the artist in your tagging table, click the three-dotted menu under the Actions column, and select View page.

The artist page, as configured by you, will then display.

Step 10: Preview the artist on your event page
Click Preview on the event menu to see your live event page. The event page will then display. Your linked artist will appear under the Featured Artist tab.

Note: When a ticket buyer clicks on the artist’s image, they will be taken directly to the custom Artist Page you created (as directed in previous steps).

How to edit or remove a linked artist

You can manage your tagged performers directly from the main table on the Artist Tagging page.

Edit an artist page
Navigate to the added artist in the table and click the three-dotted menu icon. Select Edit to open the artist configuration view. Once you have updated the necessary details or images, click Save to apply the changes.

Remove a linked artist page

Find the performer you wish to remove and click the three-dotted menu. Select Remove to unbind the artist from your event. Note that this will remove the artist's details from your event page immediately.

Troubleshooting

I can’t see this feature.
Artist tagging is only visible to users with the required permissions.
I can’t find the artist I want to tag.

Our search tool relies on the Ticketmaster Discovery API. If a performer is not currently in this global database, they will not appear. First, double-check your spelling or try searching for their primary stage name.

If the artist is still missing, we may add new artists upon request. This is subject to a review process. To request an addition, please contact your Account Manager or our Support Team with the artist's details.

The Save button is not working.
All fields marked with a red asterisk (*) are mandatory. Ensure you have added the Performer Type, Description, and any required images before clicking save.
The artist page is not showing up in search engines.
Check your visibility settings. If the Page Listing is set to Private, search engines like Google cannot index the page. Change this to Public to improve your SEO.
The artist page is not showing on my Quicket event page.
Check that your event is set to Public. Only public events will display on the artist’s page.

My event is not listed on the artist’s event page.
Only public artist pages will display on the event page. Check that the artist page is set to Public
