Understanding my ticket barcode / QR code
Your Quicket ticket contains a unique barcode or QR code used to validate your ticket when you arrive at the event.
What happens when my ticket is scanned?

At the entrance, event staff scan your ticket using Quicket's access-control system.

A valid ticket is checked against the event's ticket information and recorded as checked in.
Each ticket has its own code

If your booking contains several admission tickets, each ticket has its own scannable code.

Make sure the correct ticket is shown for each person entering.
Don't share your barcode publicly

Treat your ticket barcode like the ticket itself.

  • Don't post it on social media
  • Don't share screenshots publicly
  • Don't send it to people you don't trust
What if someone copies my ticket?

A copied barcode doesn't create an additional valid ticket.

Once a ticket has been successfully checked in, another copy of the same ticket may be rejected as already used.
What happens if I transfer my ticket?

When a ticket is transferred through Quicket's ticket-transfer feature, a new barcode is generated for the recipient and the previous barcode is no longer valid.

Always use the latest ticket available in your Quicket account.
Why can't I see my barcode yet?

The organiser may have enabled Ticket Delivery Delay.

Your booking is confirmed, but the barcode remains unavailable until the organiser's selected release time.

If you've already added the ticket to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet, the barcode will appear on the pass automatically once the release time arrives.
My barcode won't scan

Try:

  • Increasing your screen brightness
  • Making sure the full barcode is visible
  • Opening the original ticket rather than a low-quality image
  • Cleaning your phone screen
If it still doesn't scan, ask the event's entrance staff for assistance.
