Understand payment processing fees
Payment processing covers the cost of processing ticket payments through Quicket’s payment facilities.
It is separate from Quicket’s ticketing commission.
Quicket payment processing
Quicket’s currently published standard South African payment-processing rate is:

2.5% ex VAT
Together with the published 2.4% ex VAT Quicket commission, this results in a standard combined rate of:

when Quicket provides the ticketing service and processes the payment.
Why are the fees separated?
Keeping payment processing separate gives organisers the option of using another supported payment provider instead of Quicket’s own processing facilities.
Using your own payment provider
If you connect an external payment gateway, the provider will apply its own transaction charges and settle ticket proceeds according to its own terms.
Quicket’s ticketing commission may still apply, and Quicket may invoice you separately after the event.
