Set up registration before checkout

Set up registration before checkout

Set up registration before checkout
Use Registration when guests need to provide information before they can purchase a ticket.

You can allow people to book immediately after registering, or require each registration to be approved before tickets become available to them.

This works well for:

  • Conferences
  • Industry events
  • Invitation-only events
  • Membership events
  • School events
  • Events with eligibility requirements
  • Events where attendees need to be approved first
How to turn on registration
1
Log in to Quicket.
2
Go to Organiser Hub → My Events.
3
Select your event.
4
Go to Manage Checkout → Registrations.
5
Set Registrations Enabled to Yes.
6
Configure your registration settings.
7
Select Save Changes.
Choose how registrations are approved

Choose whether registrations are approved automatically or reviewed by you first.

Automatic approval
Guests are approved as soon as they complete the registration form.
Manual approval

You review each registration and decide whether to approve or decline it.

Manual approval is useful when you need to check eligibility before allowing someone to book.

Set when registration opens and closes

Choose:

Registrations open from
Registrations open until

Guests will only be able to register during this period.

Require every ticket holder to register

Turn on Force registration for all ticket holders if everyone attending needs to complete a registration form.

This is particularly useful when one buyer can purchase several tickets for different attendees. Quicket will check that each ticket holder has a matching registration before the booking can be completed.

Require registration when tickets are transferred

If ticket transfers are enabled, turn on Check for registration on transfer.

Anyone receiving a transferred ticket will then need to complete the registration process before accessing their ticket.

Add questions to your registration form

After saving your settings:

1
Select Setup Registration Form.
2
Select Add Question.
3
Choose an existing question or select Create Custom Question.
4
Choose whether the question should be included or required.
5
Select Add.
Add messages for registrants

You can add messages that guests see during the registration process, such as:

  • Registration instructions
  • A pending-approval message
  • An approved-registration message

You can also choose to email guests when their registration is approved.

View and approve registrations

Scroll to List of Registrations on the Registrations page.

Select Details next to a registrant to view their answers.

If you're using manual approval, you can approve or decline the registrant from here.
