Set ticket sales dates and purchase limits

Set ticket sales dates and purchase limits
Control when each ticket type is available and how many tickets a guest can buy.

This is useful for Early Bird pricing, limited releases, group bookings and preventing one person from purchasing too many tickets.

Set your sales dates
1
Open your Event Dashboard.
2
Go to Manage Checkout → Ticket Types.
3
Select the arrow next to the ticket type.
4
Set the Sales start date & time.
5
Set the Sales end date & time.
6
Select Save Tickets.
Before the start date, guests won’t be able to buy the ticket. After the end date, sales for that ticket type will stop.
Set purchase limits

Use the ticket settings below to control how many tickets guests can buy.

Set a minimum purchase

Use Minimum tickets per order to require guests to buy at least a certain number of tickets.

Example
Minimum = 2
Guests must purchase at least two tickets in that order.
Set a maximum purchase

Use Maximum tickets per order to control how many tickets can be purchased in one booking.

Example
Maximum = 6
A guest can’t add more than six of that ticket type to one order.
Sell tickets in fixed group sizes

Use Tickets available in increments of when tickets must be bought in groups.

Example
Increment = 4
Guests can purchase 4, 8, 12 and so on.
Keep the ticket price set as the price per individual ticket, not the full group price.
Limit tickets per person

Use Maximum tickets per user to limit the total number a Quicket user can purchase across multiple orders.

Example
Maximum per user = 10
A guest could buy:
  • 10 tickets in one order, or
  • 5 tickets in two separate orders
but no more than 10 in total.
This limit depends on the buyer being logged into their Quicket account when making the purchase.
