Set ticket prices

Set ticket prices
Set a price for each paid ticket type you create.

This lets you offer different pricing levels such as:

  • Early Bird
  • General Admission
  • VIP
  • Adult
  • Child
  • Weekend Pass
How to set a ticket price
1
Open your Event Dashboard.
2
Go to Manage Checkout → Ticket Types.
3
Add a new Paid ticket, or find an existing paid ticket.
4
Enter the amount in the Price field.
5
Select Save Tickets.
Can different ticket types have different prices?

Yes. Each paid ticket type can have its own price.

Ticket type Price
Early Bird R150
General Admission R200
VIP R350
Can I change the price later?

Yes, provided no one has already booked that ticket type.

Once a ticket has been booked, Quicket locks the price for that ticket type.

If you need to introduce a different price after sales have started, create a new ticket type instead.

For example:
Early Bird – R150
followed by
General Admission – R200
Remember to consider fees

The price you enter is the ticket’s face value.

Quicket may also charge applicable commission, payment-processing and booking fees depending on your event setup and agreement.

Organisers can choose whether certain booking fees are paid by the ticket buyer or absorbed by the organiser.
