How Quicket fees work

How Quicket fees work
Creating a Quicket account and listing an event is free.

Fees apply when Quicket processes paid ticket sales or other payments on your behalf.

Free-only events don’t incur Quicket commission.
What fees can apply?

Quicket’s standard event fees can include:

Commission
A percentage-based fee on paid ticket sales.
Payment processing
A fee for processing payments through Quicket’s payment facilities.
Booking fee
A fixed fee per ticket that can either be paid by the ticket buyer or absorbed by the organiser.
Other charges that may apply

Additional charges may apply if you use optional services such as:

  • Field Services staff
  • Equipment hire
  • Printed tickets
  • SMS messaging
  • Refund processing
Standard Quicket fees

Quicket’s current published South African standard rates are:

2.4%
ex VAT commission on paid tickets
2.5%
ex VAT payment-processing fee when Quicket processes the payment
R7.50
booking fee per ticket
Quicket lists a reduced commission rate of 2% ex VAT for qualifying NPOs and PBOs.
Rates can vary depending on agreements, product type, currency, country and payment method.
How are the fees collected?

If Quicket collects your ticket funds, applicable organiser fees are deducted from your event proceeds before your payout.

If you use your own payment provider, Quicket may invoice you separately.
