Creative ways to use Quicket

Over the years, we've seen Quicket users bend and mold our platform to their needs in some truly creative ways. Some so creative, in fact, that they inspired us to build features that would make it easy for anyone to use Quicket in almost any way they need. If you have something you need to sell or raise funds for, chances are you can use Quicket to do so.

See below for some common creative ways to use Quicket, or feel free to contact us if you have some ideas you're not quite sure how to implement. Our team are experts on finding ways to make our platform work for you.

Quicket Hosted Streaming

There are many different options you can use to provide content and stream an event, such as YouTube, Vimeo or Facebook. But if you want to ensure your content stays between just you and your ticket buyers, you can use Quicket Hosted Streaming and keep your ticketing and streaming all on one platform. Click here for help getting started.

Online events

If you have another platform in mind to host your event (see some examples below), you can simply enabled Streaming for your event and allow us to send the streaming link to your guests for you. Click here for help enabling Streaming for your event.

Here are some platforms where you can host your event online:
Google Hangouts MeetFacebook Live
Zoom

If you choose to not enable Streaming for your Quicket event, but still need to send a link or communicate with your guests, here are some tools you can use:
Use MailChimp to connect with your guests
Send your guests an SMS
Use your guest list to find guests' email addresses

Collect donations with your ticket sales

If you already have an event set up, or plan to create one, you can also collect donations alongside your ticket sales. When creating your ticket types, simply add a donation box to your event by clicking 'Collect Donations.' You can also optionally set a donation target so guests can see how close you are to your goal.

Merchandise sales

If you have a product you want to sell online but not quite sure how best to do so, you can use Quicket's merchandise sales option. After you've created your event, from your event dashboard just head to Checkout >> Merchandise.

You can add all of your items there, with different options for amounts, prices and sizes, and can add images of the different products. If you don't have any tickets you're selling, just be sure to select the option  to 'Skip ticket sales' so your event page shows merchandise only for sale.
