What is 3D Secure?
3D Secure is an additional security step used by banks to verify some online card payments.
It helps your bank confirm that the person making the payment is authorised to use the card.
What happens during checkout?
When you pay by card, your bank may ask you to verify the transaction.
Depending on your bank, this could involve:
- Approving the transaction in your banking app
- Entering a one-time PIN
- Following another security prompt
Is 3D Secure from Quicket?
No. The verification is controlled by your bank or card provider.
Quicket can't approve the 3D Secure request on your behalf.
I didn't receive the verification request
If your bank doesn't send the expected verification:
2
Make sure your bank has your correct mobile number.
3
Check that your phone has network access.
4
Try the transaction again if appropriate.
5
Contact your bank if the problem continues.
My 3D Secure verification failed
If the verification fails or expires, your card payment may not complete.
Return to the event and try the booking again.
If the problem continues, contact your bank or use another available payment method.
Was I charged?
Before trying repeatedly, check your banking activity.
If the transaction shows as successful but you haven't received tickets, follow the steps in I was charged but didn't receive tickets.
What’s next?
Continue with your card payment or troubleshoot a failed or completed transaction.
