Understand traffic and conversions
Traffic tells you how many people are reaching your event page. Conversions tell you how many of those visits result in a completed booking.

Together, these metrics can help you understand whether your marketing is attracting the right audience and encouraging them to buy tickets.

Traffic

Your Visitors Report shows where people are coming from and when they're visiting.

Look at traffic when you want to answer questions such as:

  • Did our social campaign increase event-page visits?
  • Is our email newsletter sending people to Quicket?
  • Which websites are referring visitors?
  • Are people visiting from the locations we expected?
Referring source and medium

Quicket reports traffic using source / medium.

Source
Identifies where the visitor originated.
Medium
Describes how that visitor reached the page.
Conversions

In Quicket's visitor and sales reporting, a conversion represents someone reaching the successful-purchase page.

A channel can therefore generate lots of traffic without necessarily generating lots of ticket purchases.
Example
Instagram
1,000 visitors
20 purchases
Email
300 visitors
40 purchases
Instagram generated more traffic, but email generated more completed bookings. Looking at both metrics gives you a better picture than measuring visits alone.
Compare marketing activity over time

Use the Flow of Visitors information alongside your ticket sales to look for changes after:

  • Advertising campaigns
  • Promotional-code launches
  • Social media posts
  • Artist announcements
  • Email campaigns
A note about analytics data
Quicket's Sales and Visitors reports include information supplied through Google Analytics. Quicket notes that it can't verify the accuracy of Google Analytics data.
