Set up tickets for multiple time slots
If your event runs at different times or dates, you can control which ticket types are available for each time slot.
This works well for:
- Theatre performances
- Workshops and classes
- Tours
- Exhibitions
- Matinee and evening sessions
Before you start
Your event needs to have multiple time slots or recurring sessions set up.
1
Open your Event Dashboard.
2
Go to Manage Checkout → Ticket Types.
3
Add a new ticket or expand an existing ticket.
4
Find the time-slot visibility settings.
Choose when the ticket should appear
Quicket lets you use different visibility rules for each ticket type.
Show on all time slots
The ticket is available for every session. This is the default setting.
Show on all except selected time slots
Use this when the ticket applies to most sessions but should be excluded from specific time slots.
Show only on selected time slots
Use this when a ticket should only be available for particular sessions.
Example
You run a theatre production with:
- Saturday 14:00
- Saturday 19:00
- Sunday 14:00
You could create:
Matinee Ticket – R150
Visible only for the 14:00 sessions.
Evening Ticket – R200
Visible only for the Saturday 19:00 session.
Save and test your setup
After applying the rules:
2
Preview your event page.
3
Choose several different time slots and check that the correct tickets appear.
Test more than one session before sharing your event to make sure guests only see the ticket types intended for their selected time slot.
