Create a recurring event

Create a recurring event

Create a recurring event
Use a recurring event when the same event takes place across multiple dates or times.

Instead of creating a separate event page for every session, Quicket lets you list all of the sessions under one event.

Recurring events work well for:
  • Theatre performances
  • Classes
  • Workshops
  • Tours
  • Regular events
  • Events with multiple sessions
How to create a recurring event
1
Go to Quicket and select Create Event.
2
Complete your Organiser Profile.
3
Continue to Event Details.
4
Add your event name and description.
5
Under your event dates, select Schedule a Series of Events.
6
Select Add dates.
7
Choose how often the event repeats:
  • Daily
  • Weekly
  • Monthly
  • Single dates
8
Set the event times.
9
Review your schedule and continue creating your event.
You can also edit individual sessions or give them their own names.
How tickets work for recurring events

Recurring events use the same ticket setup across the full event series. Select each item below to learn how bookings work.

Ticket types

Your ticket types apply across the entire series.

You cannot create different ticket types for individual sessions within the same recurring event.

Event capacity
The event capacity remains the same across the recurring event series.
How guests book
Guests first choose the date they want to attend and then select their tickets.
Booking more than one session
If a guest wants to attend more than one date, they’ll need to complete a separate booking for each date.
Managing your recurring event

Your Event Dashboard shows combined information for the full event series by default.

To view guests or reports for a specific session, use the event dropdown at the top of your dashboard reports.

Things to know
If you’re selling paid tickets, each event in the recurring series is treated separately for payout purposes.
