Send guests an SMS
Use Send SMS to quickly send short updates to guests who provided a mobile number during checkout.

This can be useful for last-minute information such as:

  • Gate changes
  • Parking instructions
  • Weather updates
  • Entry instructions
  • Important event-day reminders

Open your Event Dashboard.

Go to Guest Management → Send SMS.

Select the ticket types you want to contact.

Select Calculate List.

Review the number of recipients and cost.

Enter your message.

Select Send Messages.

Review the confirmation and select OK.
SMS length
Messages are limited to 160 characters, so keep your update short and clear.
SMS cost

SMS messages currently cost R0.25 excluding VAT each, and the cost is deducted from your event payout.

The SMS feature isn't available for free events or events that haven't generated enough funds to cover the SMS cost.
Not every guest will receive an SMS

Only guests who provided a mobile number during checkout can receive your message.

For important changes, consider using email as well.
