Use tracking scripts

How to use tracking scripts to track user behaviour on your event pages

Use tracking scripts in your Quicket account to track your guests' behaviour on each of your event pages.

If you're managing multiple brands within one Quicket account, you can set up multiple trackers to distinguish between each organiser profile. (More on organiser profiles here .)

Get started by logging into your Quicket account and going to My Events then Tracking Scripts .

On the Tracking Scripts page, you'll be able to add a new tracking service as well as see any tracking services you've added previously.

Click Connect a new tracking service to start adding tracking scripts.

Name this connector: If you have multiple brands nested under the same Quicket account, you can set up multiple trackers, each with a different name to easily distinguish between them.

Choose a service: Choose whether you'll be using Google Analytics or Facebook as your tracking service.

Tracking ID: This is the ID given to you by Facebook or Google Analytics. For example, Google Analytics gives you a unique ID in the form of UA-XXXXXXXX-X.

Add tracking to these organiser profiles: If your Quicket account has multiple brands, just choose the organiser profile for the brand you are setting up this tracker for.

Add tracking to these events: You can select all of your events to be tracked, or if you have multiple brands, only select the events for the brand you are setting up this tracking service for. Note that you will not be able to select any events that have already passed.

For the selected events, which pages need tracking?
You can choose any or all of these to track:
  • Event details : this is your event page on Quicket where guests find information about your event and start the booking process.
  • Ticket checkout : this is the checkout page where guests enter their payment details and ticket holder information.
  • EFT successfully reserved : if guests choose to pay by EFT / bank transfer, this is the page that tells them they have successfully reserved their tickets.
  • Booking completed : if guests choose to pay by card, this is the page that tells them their booking and payment were successful.
  • Widget view : this will allow you to track the Quicket ticket widget on your website if you've set one up ( click here for help setting up your widget ).
Automatically include on new events?: Only slide this to YES if you are not managing multiple brands under the same Quicket account.
