Scan tickets with your phone or tablet

Scan tickets with your phone or tablet
Use the Quicket Access Control app to turn your phone or tablet into a ticket scanner.

The app uses your device's camera to scan the barcode or QR code on a guest's Quicket ticket.

Download the app

Before you begin, make sure your event has been created on Quicket.

Download the Quicket Access Control app onto the phone or tablet you'll use for scanning.

Android - Google Play Store

For Android phones and compatible tablets.

Apple - App Store

For compatible iPhones.

  1. Open the Quicket Access Control app.
  2. Log in using your Quicket email address and password.
  3. Select your event.
  4. If it's a recurring event, select the correct date or time slot.
Only upcoming active events appear in the app. Past events aren't available.

Scan a ticket

  1. Select Press to Scan.
  2. Allow the app to access your camera if prompted.
  3. Point the camera at the barcode or QR code on the guest's ticket.
  4. Wait for the ticket to scan automatically.

Valid tickets

If the ticket is valid, you'll see a success message with the ticket details.

Select Continue to scan the next guest.
If you checked the ticket in by mistake, select Undo Check In.

Invalid or already-used tickets

If there's a problem with the ticket, the app will display an error.

Check the message before allowing the guest to enter.

A ticket may:
  • Belong to another event
  • Have already been checked in
  • Be invalid
  • Have been cancelled
Scanning without internet

If your connection drops, you can continue scanning.

When the device reconnects, its check-in information will synchronise with Quicket and other connected scanning devices.

Before logging out or changing events, make sure the device is connected to the internet and has synchronised its check-ins.
What's next?
Monitor your check-ins and make sure your scanning devices are ready for event day.
