How it works
The app synchronises with your event guest list on Quicket when you are connected to the internet. If you are using multiple devices for scanning tickets, each device synchronises with Quicket while it has connection to the internet. If a device loses connection, the app will switch to it's own version of the event guest list. Upon re-connection to the internet, check-in data will be synchronised back to Quicket and any other devices also scanning tickets for your event.
NB: If your phone is offline while scanning, be sure to connect to the internet before logging out your account on the app or switching events in the app. Otherwise, you will lose any check-in data that was collected while scanning.
Using the app
Once you've downloaded the app, login with your Quicket account details. If you login using Facebook, please contact us on email@example.com for help logging in.
Upon logging in, you'll see a list of your upcoming active events on Quicket. Note that you will not be able to view any past events in the app.
If your event is a recurring event (over multiple dates), you will be able to select any of the upcoming dates after you've selected the event.
Select from your list of events which one you'll be scanning tickets for and you'll be taken to the homepage for that event in the app.
If you're using your phone's camera to scan, simply click Start Scanning, point the camera at the barcode on the ticket and it will scan automatically.
If the barcode is invalid (i.e. the ticket was cancelled, transferred, or for the wrong event), you'll be notified so you can investigate further.
If the ticket is valid, you'll see a success message. Click OK to continue scanning.
If you need to search for a barcode manually, go to the menu and select Enter Barcode. You'll be able to check in the ticket manually here.
You may need to search guests individually if someone forgot their ticket or if you need to investigate why a barcode came up invalid.
You can do this by clicking the menu icon in the top left and then select Search.
Use this page to search for any ticket holder information that may have been collected. Examples may be searching name, email, barcode, ticket type, or any other custom information you collected from ticket buyers during the booking process.
Once you've entered your search term, you can click on the information icon next to each result for more ticket details.
To see your check-in report for the event, go to the menu and select Statistics.
From here you'll find all of the data collected during scanning. This includes the number and percentage of tickets checked in, your list of ticket types and how many of each ticket type has been checked in. You'll also see the average rate of checkins per hour, how many tickets were checked in during the last hour, and the total duration of the checkin process.
This page will also show you how many complimentary tickets were issued for the event and how many tickets have been transferred.
