Refund protection for ticket buyers

Refund protection for ticket buyers

As an event organiser, you have the option to allow refunds for your event or to switch them off. In the case that refunds are switched off, we will offer ticket buyers the option to add refund protection via a third party service provider (Xcover.com), to their order for a small fee at checkout. Upgrading to a refundable booking gives ticket buyers the chance to refund the total ticket value (excluding booking fees) if they can't attend the event due to unforeseen circumstances. This also ensures that you will not lose funds due to refunds actioned and will receive the funds from all paid bookings for your event, as these refunds are actioned by Xcover.

Please note that refund protection does not cover for the event being cancelled, curtailed, postponed or non-attendance. You may also not be covered if:

  1. You simply change your mind about going to the event.
  2. Work issues, non-medical or transport issues that prevent you from attending the event.
  3. You do not provide supporting evidence or necessary documents during the claim process.

You can find more information about XCover on their website here.
