How to enable Covid Compliance for your event

Physical events are making a comeback, which means it's more important than ever to ensure that your event is Covid compliant and safe for your attendees and event staff. Quicket has always provided ways to collect custom information from ticket buyers and to communicate with guests, but now with just the click of a button you can trigger the actions you need ensure Covid compliance at your event.

What will happen when I enable Covid Compliance?

  1. Your ticket buyers will be required to answer questions at checkout that can be used for contract tracing.
  2. All attendees will be emailed 24 hours before the event to answer Covid screening questions. A warning will appear in the Quicket Go scanning app if an attendee has not filled in the questions or has not passed the screening questions.
  3. The Quicket Go scanning app will have a field to record each attendee's temperature when checked in.
  4. Additionally, you can request a Covid assessment from our Field Services team to ensure you are taking all necessary precautions for your event.

Create your event

You'll only enable Covid Compliance after your event has been created, so you'll simply log into your Quicket account and create your event as usual. Click here for more detailed help creating your event.

During step 2 of event creation, you will need to provide the venue where your event is being held. Note that if your event is strictly online and you do not have a physical venue, then you won't need to enable Covid Compliance for your event.



If you've used Quicket before and organised an event at the same venue, you can click 'Use a previous venue' to select that venue. Otherwise, use the 'Venue address' or 'GPS coordinates' fields to enter your venue information.

Click 'Continue to Create Tickets' to create your event tickets, then click 'Continue to Dashboard' once you've added all of your ticket types.

Enable Covid Compliance

Once you land on your event dashboard, you'll see a banner at the top of the page with a button 'Enable Compliance.'



Click 'Enable Compliance' and a modal will appear that shows you all of the actions that will be performed once you confirm to enable Covid Compliance.



If you're happy to switch on these options, click 'Enable Compliance' to confirm.

Covid screening questions

You can see which questions will be asked to ticket buyers by going to your Collect Info page in your dashboard. From the dashboard menu click 'Checkout' then 'Collect Info'.



You'll notice that each question is required for each ticket holder. This is to ensure we receive all of the information we need from every person ordering a ticket.

Disable Covid Compliance

While we don't recommend disabling Covid Compliance, we understand that something may come up which no longer makes it a necessary feature for your event. For instance, if your event is moved online and you no longer are using a physical venue, we've made it easy to disable Covid Compliance. Just head back to your event dashboard at any time, and in the banner at the top of the page click 'Disable Compliance.'
